Accessories to Use to Mount Part # TRA6927M3NB-001 on a Stainless Box

In the past, we’ve had a client express his interests in our mounting accessories for part # TRA6927M3NB-001. He wanted to be able to post the antenna to a stainless box and wanted our suggestions regarding the issue. Do we have something to alleviate this problem? Yes, we do!

We have an adapter for the part # TRA6972M3-NB-001 by the part # VTPM800 (not MTPM800). Part # VTPM800 is a Laird/ Antenex ¾ inch NMO to 5/8 in N-female coax adapter. It is used when mounting to surfaces up to 1 inch thick.

However, if you would like to use a permanent version of this antenna, one that doesn’t need an NMO to N-female adapter, I’d suggest RFMAX part # RSGB-698/2700-3-NF. RFMAX’s RSGB698/2700-3-NF is a heavy-duty, high performance, vandal-proof cellular antenna. It’s a direct mount antenna that is primarily used or M2M communications across the 3G/4G/LTE bands of 698-2700 MHz. Its rated IP 67 so it can withstand high volumes of dust and can be immersed in up to 1 m of water for 30 minutes. This makes it perfect for outdoor applications.
