The Laird / Antenex B1442NS is a 55 inch long, Chrome, base loaded mobile VHF whip antenna with NMO base and spring. This antenna does NOT require a metal ground plane. It is omnidirectional and offers 2 dBi gain and accepts up to 100-200 watts max power and operates in the 144-174 MHz range.
