Voice Communications and M2M
Posted by Michael Crudele on
What does machine to machine (M2M) mean and does this mean the antenna is not equipped for voice communications?
Machine to machine, or M2M, is an umbrella term used to describe all technology that exchanges information between one another and performs certain actions without the help of humans. The exchange of information is direct and uses any communications channel, included wireless and wired. This form of communication between machines is the primary business we are in now. When it comes to antennas with voice applications, all of our antennas are built with that element. All of our antennas work with voice communications, and depending on the antenna you select, will work on the correct tuned radio frequencies. For instance, if you are looking to get a low SWR in the 435-450 range, you would tune your radio to transmit and receive at 430-450 MHz.
