How to Improve Cellular Connection on Cuddeback/Cuddelink Trail Camera System
Posted by Michael Crudele on
We hear from lots of people who have trouble getting good cellular connection with their Cuddelink cellular trail cam systems from Cuddeback. The pair of antennas on the top of the home unit are the antennas that communicate with the cellular network, and if they happen to be on the side of the tree away from the closest cell tower, they have a tough time connecting. But...where is the nearest cell tower? Who knows?
That is why we recommend using two external antennas with brackets and mounting them on OPPOSITE SIDES of the tree to give you the best chance that at least one of them will make a good connection.
We have created a kit that includes everything you need to improve your connection.
